What is an MCP connector?
Model Context Protocol is a standard that connects AI applications to tools and data. Beyond Time hosts the MCP server. You add it as a connector in your assistant, then sign in to give it access to your Beyond Time account.

What is the Beyond Time MCP connector?
Beyond Time’s MCP connector connects an AI assistant to your saved goals, milestones, actions, habits, routines, and personal context. MCP stands for Model Context Protocol, a standard for connecting AI applications to tools and data. Beyond Time hosts the remote MCP server; you add it as a connector in your AI client.
Is the Beyond Time MCP server free?
Beyond Time provides MCP access for free. Your AI client may require its own subscription or workspace permission to use custom connectors. Premium iOS features have separate pricing.
Which AI assistants can connect to Beyond Time?
Start with our setup guides for Claude and Claude Code. Other clients need support for remote MCP over Streamable HTTP and OAuth. ChatGPT custom MCP access and write actions depend on your plan and workspace settings. Connect each client separately to the same Beyond Time account.
What is the MCP server URL, and do I need an API key?
Use https://beyondtime.ai/mcp as the remote server URL. Your MCP client starts an OAuth sign-in flow for Beyond Time. No separate Beyond Time API key or local server installation is required.
What can my AI assistant read or change?
After you authorize the connection, MCP tools can read your account’s planning data and create, update, or delete supported items such as goals, milestones, actions, habits, and routines. Tools can also access personal context you save in Beyond Time. Review your client’s tool permissions and confirmation settings before enabling actions.
Can I use MCP without installing the iOS app?
Yes. Connect through your AI client and complete the Beyond Time sign-in flow. The hosted MCP server does not require the iOS app. Use the same Beyond Time account across clients to work with the same saved plan.
